Some of the very old denim jeans & jackets that were found through the years.
The past 10 years I have seen and able to touch and feel plenty of jeans, jacket. Here are some pics of older denim jeans surfaced these years. Some were found in old dude ranch, some were found in old abandoned mine shafts. I will be showing part of my collections in this site too.
Note: I do not encourage mine exploring or removing of old artifacts that were found in the old mine. Make sure you know what you are doing and be responsible to history.
Pls do not wash, attempt to clean these old denim after you found them. By doing this, you were erasing the history away. Just leave the poor dang denim alone! Thank you.
This pair of older Levis was found in a California old mine, probably one of the famous Nevada Goldfield mine.

This is a pretty good condition close front jumper...should be Lot 211. A pretty common clothing for a miner. Such top were out of production in the early days.

This is a piece or part of denim that is suppose to belong to the early line from Levis. Known as Spring Bottom Pants...this is rare and was uncovered from an unknow mine.
This is probably uncovered from another abandoned mine. Note that leather label from jeans uncovered from the old mine were mostly intact and still moist, they were well preserved due condition of the underground temperature and the ventilation.
After close examined, I'm very sure this belong to around 1910-1920.

Note that on the top of ticket it says "For Over 20 years"...this ticket used to hang on a pair of 1890s jeans or jacket. This was considered rare as was the only one I've seen.
This is so rare and one of its kind! The manufacturer was unknown, the cornered of every pockets were held together by leather instead of rivets! This is very hand made product from a century ago. Found in an unknown mine.
